I am not Texas Country. Living in Texas, anytime you have a product that you believe is original, people lump you into one category and I do not fit that mold. My music is so much more. I gathered my songwriting and my style of music by listening to Buck Owens, Willie Nelson, Wilco, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Thrift Store Cowboys, The Format, Ray Charles, Lyle Lovett, and Willis Alan Ramsey. Then I took them put them into a bag and shook it as hard as I could. What came out was a blend. A country that is pop. A pop that is jazz. A blues that is rock. A rock that is country. Where I am from is a simple town in West Texas. A place in Texas where the wind constantly blows, the cold brings terrible shivers, and the heat of the summer drenches everything in a still dry sweat. I play music because I love it and I bring with me a product I hope all will enjoy as well.
